About Ginie

Ginie Colombo is a neurodivergent author and visual artist. Born and raised in Paris, she moved to Sydney later in life.

     Her adoptive country, Australia, with all its natural beauty, has sparked Ginie's desire to unleash her creativity. Ginie is passionate about writing, storytelling, capturing life in all its forms via painting and photography. She describes herself as a perpetual learner and observer, who loves exploring different themes and motifs. As part of her creative process, she loves immersing herself in their projects—diving headfirst into the research, production, and fine-tuning of the stories she feels are the most worthy of telling.

     Ginie is currently completing a Bachelor of Arts with a triple major in Creative Writing, Literary Studies and Children's Literature. After graduation, she plans to query a picture book, a visual ecobiography, short stories, and to finish writing her novel.

     Ginie will also soon resume accepting watercolour commissions and propose some archival prints to purchase.
